Jon Bing

 

• Jon Bing is a writer and a professor of law at the Norwegian Research Center for Computers and Law (NRCCL) at the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo.
• He is considered a pioneer in International Legal Information.
• Bing has held many positions, both nationally and internationally, including chairmanship of Arts Council Norway. He is at present chairman of the Research Council of Norway. He made his debut as a writer of fiction in 1967 and has been awarded many prizes for his work in the literary field. In 2004 he received the Norwegian Library Association’s honorary prize.
