A crucial matter

Library directors are aware of how important it is to know how to talk about the services of their own library, not only to the area’s residents, but also to city or municipality decision-makers. In times of hard decisions and budget cuts, it is crucial that one has managed to create the right image concerning library operations. Libraries provide services, which are useful to residents in many different ways in their everyday lives. During a recession, these services are especially important. Now is the right time to market these services to both library users and non-users; right now there should be more resources for opening hours and individual instruction!
